A late-19th-century terracotta amphora from Puglia, found in Ostuni in the Valle d’Itria. Its softly rounded body, traditional handles and warm earthy finish reflect the practical ceramic forms once used in rural Southern Italy.
Originally made to carry and store water or wine, it now works as a sculptural decorative object or vessel, with natural patina and markings that speak to its age and history.
