Product Info
An early-19th-century terracotta Capasa from Puglia, Southern Italy, finished with a soft cream glaze. Its cylindrical form, reinforced rim and side handles reflect its original use as a practical storage jar.
Raw terracotta remains visible at the base, creating a warm contrast with the aged glaze and giving the piece a distinctly rustic Mediterranean character.

Inside the Atelier
Puglia is at the heart of Bottega Terra. Our signature ceramic collections are made in a small studio in Southern Italy using traditional techniques passed through generations. Alongside these pieces, we also source antique Italian objects, vintage textiles and a small edit of Mediterranean artisan pieces.
The Puglian atelier continues to shape our approach: a preference for human touch, slow making and objects with character, chosen to bring a sense of place to everyday living.
